Chloe and I have been very good friends for two years now and it has been our hobby to go on food trips every time we feel like hanging out or just chilling. However, because of our schedule differences we have a hard time meeting up on our free time, it’s either we have requirements to pass or we have other things going on with our lives. Never the less, we still find a way and time to get together and go on food trips.
It’s been quite a long time since Chloe and I had our food trip (well we had recent food trips but it was with our friends and not just the two of us J ). Surprisingly, one afternoon we were both free and so we decided to get together so we met up at Ayala and stayed at the Active zone for a while and headed straight to the terraces after. Chloe was craving for something sweet and I wanted carbonara, we were kinda broke that time so we decided to go for Dessert factory since we were familiar with their menu already. The place inside was packed so we were seated outside right across their hall. Good thing the weather was nice; it was not too hot nor too gloomy, just perfect. Since we were broke that time Chloe ordered a double chocolate mousse and I had a blueberry cheesecake, and we had french fries like we always do. While waiting for our order, we talked about how our life was going on; you know the usual how-are-you conversation, though it was not that long time ago since we talked cause we talked yesterday, it felt like we needed to ask how each other was. HAHA! We talked about the recent activities we had and what’s new about us, we had the girl-thingy-talk.
After our orders arrived we then stopped talking (like it was our cue to shut up, hahahaha ). The blueberry cheesecake was good although the texture was kind of rough for me since the cheesecakes I’ve tasted had smooth textures but taste wise, it was delish. Chloe made me taste her double chocolate mousse and it was totally mouth-watering, with the chocolate in the side, I had a taste of heaven. Their French fries was just like the other French fries but one thing’s for sure it was a lot. It was just the usual fries but it was fair enough for the price. Their iced tea was bottomless which was good since I had like three glasses of it (not thirsty eh? hahaha ). So yeah, we paid a fair price for the yummy dessert we had.

It was just another school day when my good friend Chloe and I decided to hang out and eat something like we always do. We were thinking of going to the canteen to buy food when I remembered that there was this newly opened dessert house just near our school, it was called Llew's Mud pies, so eventually we went there.
The place was nice though it was kind of small. The dessert counter was awesome; you can see the different desserts they offer in their menu. So yeah, we took our seats and ordered. I was supposed to order their specialty, the mud pie when something in their menu grabbed my attention – S’MORES! Dude, they were selling s’mores and I thought I’d never be able to see this in stores, it was just awesome. S’mores is like my all time favorite snack, I had my great share of childhood because of this snack. While we were waiting for the snack to be served, Chloe and I chatted about what happened earlier which was really fun. After 2-3 minutes of waiting our orders arrived. Well we just ordered s’mores and iced tea so we really didn’t have to wait too long. Their iced tea was great, it was not the usual iced tea served in fast food chains or restaurants. The iced tea container looked really cute.

I then started eating my oh-so-favorite-snack, and yes, it felt like I was on cloud nine. It was really delicious. This is the only snack that can make me appreciate marshmallows. Well the snack is really messy to prepare and to eat but it’s worth the mess, really. For the record, I did mess up my face with the melted chocolate.
Tip:
· For those who do not know what smores is it is actually consists of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham crackers. · S'more is short for the words “some more”
